Meet Radu & Liuda Cucos

Radu and Liuda have been full-time missionaries in Moldova for 25 years, working with CRU, an organization which mainly evangelizes among the youth. Despite the economic, political, and Ukrainian war challenges, they can testify to God's amazing work here in Moldova, a small country in Eastern Europe.

Ministry Work

About 13 years ago, God led them to plant a church, and since then, they have been serving as elders at God's Space Church, and Radu also serving as co-pastor. What started as a vision for discipleship has grown into planting a third congregation called "Via Veritas."

This year, discipleship has been their major focus. After starting new groups for parents and new believers, they had the joy of baptizing eight people, including some Ukrainian refugees. Through it all, they saw God's transformative power at work, shaping lives and communities for His glory.

Prayer Requests

• Pray that God would keep peace over Moldova, protect it from further Russian encroachment, and grant wisdom to the leaders. Pray that Moldova can use this time of hardship for evangelism and discipleship, so that many would come to true faith in Christ.
• Please pray for God's physical care. Moldova is facing a winter with insufficient gas and electricity. Pray that Moldova's new energy sources from Romania will be ready soon, and that Ukraine's energy infrastructure remains intact to avoid further complications.
• Transnistria, an uncontrolled part of Moldova under Russian influence, is now without gas or heating, possibly with no electricity. Ask for God's intervention to shield the people during these crises, and for peace during the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2025. May God's truth and justice prevail.
