While we are excited to one day return to in-person worship, our priority upon return is to provide a safe, spacious, and superb in-person worship experience. Our return date and best practices were set in early June, based on the COVD-19 status in the San Antonio area at that time. The return date and best practices were prayerfully selected and informed by local, state, and federal government and health service guidelines. And we committed to adjusting plans as necessary.

Based on the increase in number of COVID-19 cases in the San Antonio area as of July 1, we believe the time has come to adjust our in-person gathering plans. Together we will trust and adjust. We have decided to indefinitely postpone our return to in-person worship. We greatly value the health of the OHC body, our staff, and community at large, and believe we are honoring all and loving one another by making this decision.

We are thankful for technology, and plan to continue live-streaming worship as we have for more than a decade. Join us for worship online:

BETTER TOGETHER
Join us in praying for the health and safety of our community. Pray for those who are weary, and in need of hope. We are God’s gathered people for his glory and his purposes, and we long to gather to encourage one another to follow Jesus moment by moment. God created us to gather in worship because we are simply better together. We can’t wait for the day we are once again gathered in-person!

Until then, let’s champion unity and be a church body that encourages and values both the online and in-person expressions of worship. Let’s trust and adjust. The church is not - and never has been - closed. Let’s continue following Jesus moment by moment and let’s do this together!

Check back soon for updates on a new in-person worship date!
