THANK YOU!

As 2019 comes to a close, we want to thank you for your faithfulness, encouragement, and partnership. It’s been an amazing year. God is doing great things through our congregation.

YEAR END OFFERING

As we approach the end of 2019, would you prayerfully consider giving a year end gift? Our elders and ministers have been praying about where to plant the seeds of the good news of Jesus in 2020, and how we can bring hope to hurting people. We believe God is leading us to invest in three areas: Family, Community, and the Future.

Family
Let’s plant the seed of faith in families by helping parents guide their children spiritually. Together we can invest in the next generation by preparing parents to guide their children to a healthy understanding of their identity in Christ through the Recharge Parent Conference, Parenting Classes, and OHC Family Milestones.

Community
Let’s plant the seed of love in our community by helping families acquire affordable housing and planting churches among unreached people. God has a heart for the poor and compassion for the hurting. Together we will bring the good news of Jesus as we partner with outreach organizations including Habitat for Humanity and Mission India.

Future
Let’s plant the seed of hope for our future by continuing to launch our Alamo Ranch campus toward independence and by expanding ministry opportunities to the next generation. Together we will prepare our Alamo Ranch campus to reach the outer west community as an independent church. We will also reduce our church facility debt so we can expand our outreach as we guide people to follow Jesus moment by moment.

With God’s blessing and through our generosity, we can make a difference in 2020.

1 Corinthians 3:6-11

"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ."
