Meet Austin & Kate Mackintosh

The Mackintosh family has served in Ireland for nearly 6 years, focusing on youth and family ministry. They partner with local organizations and churches to support and develop local ministry across Ireland.  

Ministry Work

God continues to bless the ministry work of Austin & Kate across Ireland. There is a strong desire among local churches and youth groups to unite through joint events. One recent club, which Austin and Kate hosted, brought together over 300 teens from the area for prayer and worship. They are now recruiting for summer youth mission teams, with hopes of mobilizing more than 60 teams to serve across Ireland and Europe. Even with a continued trend towards secularism, they meet with young people daily who hunger to grow closer to Jesus. Recently, they have accessed 4 new high schools where they deliver leadership training courses and engage with Christian students through clubs. 

Prayer Requests

• Pray regularly for reconciliation between the Irish Catholic and British Protestant communities. In the north, where this family lives, many communities remain segregated, with walls even larger than those in the West Bank of the Gaza Strip.
• Pray for the continued success of student clubs.
• Pray for the right people to be mobilized to join summer teams to serve the youth of Europe.
