Pathway to Kinder is the second family Milestones. Parents with preschool children entering kindergarten in the fall are invited to a two-fold Milestone event.

PARENT EQUIPPING & KINDER BLESSING

Saturday, May 16, from 9:00 to 10:30 AM in the South Room

(Breakfast is included)

The Pathway to Kinder parent equipping workshop provides practical resources in understanding the needs of children in this phase of life. Parents are encouraged and inspired to pray with their children, value the Bible as their guide for living, and discover the significance of blessing their child. Parents will end their time by sharing a personal moment of blessing and prayer with their child.

AFFIRMATION AND RECOGNITON

Sunday, May 17, AM Worship Services

Parents are invited to the stage with their Pathway to Kinder children during the Sunday worship service for a time of affirmation and recognition. An Oak Hills Church elder gives a charge to the parents and to the congregation. Attendance at the Friday Parent Equipping & Kinder Blessing is required to participate in the Affirmation & Recognition on Sunday.
