Alaska Summer Mission Trip: June 15-22, 2025
Trip Focus: Community Service/Food Pantry (Student Ministry - High School)
Our OHC team partners with GraceWorks to bring the Good News of Jesus to those who have yet to experience New Life in Jesus. Team members will have the opportunity to make a tangible, lasting difference by working directly with unchurched children, youth, and adults in local public parks. Our team of volunteers will help people in need by offering meals to the hungry, Bible Lessons, recreation, games, and crafts. Our partnerships with local churches make this all possible. Trip Details:
Trip Cost: $1,950. Land cost is $950; all inclusive: meals, lodging, in-country transportation, insurance, bottled water, ministry supplies, etc. The Alaska team will fly from San Antonio to Anchorage, Alaska. Airfare cost is $1000; OHC MUST arrange all Airfare travel. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS May 15, 2025
Place of Stay: We provide comfortable housing, all meals, transportation, staff hosting, airport transfers, and most of the supplies for the mission. We provide the team with well-maintained 15-passenger vans for the week, and handle all logistics.
Trip Orientation/Team Meetings: We will have several Team meetings prior to our trip. We will provide you with a Team Informational Packet at the 1st Team Meeting. Team Meetings are required and will focus on building team unity, learning about the culture of Alaska, and discuss and plan for our service as a team.
