Update June 6, 2020

FFD-WebPageHeader_1280x360.jpg

Oak Hills Church is honored to partner with the San Antonio Food Bank and the USDA’s Farmers to Families Food Box program to provide food assistance to families in our community. Through our Fresh Food Distribution, we anticipate providing 500 families a week (June 10, 17, and 24) with two fresh food boxes (one box of assorted dairy and one box of assorted produce) and non-perishable food items. If your family needs fresh food, or you know a family facing food-insecurity, this program is for you. You do not need to be an Oak Hills Church member or attendee.
Please pre-register HERE

Update May 15, 2020

Oak Hills leadership is prayerfully and intentionally considering how and when to begin gathering again for worship. As we make preparations to return, we want to hear from you in two areas. First, how prepared are you to return to the building to worship together in-person? Second, how are you doing personally as a result of this pandemic?

We invite you to share you perspective by participating in a quick survey  (5-7 minutes) using the link below. Please answer every question. Some questions will have the option of selecting, "No answer at this time." Your responses to the questions will not be anonymous. Clicking the link to take the survey will log you in to your Oak Hills Church account. Your perspective is important to us, and we hope to hear from you.

Update April 21, 2020

We have heard from some who are looking forward to gathering again and we are too! We want you to know Oak Hills leadership is prayerfully and intentionally considering how and when to begin gathering again for worship. We are in regular consultation with our city leaders and other churches, seeking best practices for when we gather again. We want you to know we will prioritize your health and safety when we do gather. Please pray for our leaders as we seek guidance and God’s direction. We will continue to update you here, through our App, and through social media.

Update March 21, 2020

Worship will continue online this weekend at 5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. You may join the worship services through Facebook Live, AppleTV, Roku, and the Oak Hills app and website.

Communion at Home. We will offer an opportunity during the services where all Christ-followers are invited to take Communion. You may use any bread or juice.

Reach out to Family, Friends, and Neighbors. Our gatherings have been interrupted, but we have an unprecedented opportunity to love and serve one another. Please reach out to family, friends, and neighbors to see if there is any way you may be of help. There are many over 65 who are vulnerable who live in our neighborhoods who could use help and encouragement.

Please update your contact information. We don’t know what the days ahead will bring, but we know we can’t help you if we can’t contact you. Login through our website and update your contact information. Click on "Login" above in the upper right-hand corner.

Give online or by text. We have taken extensive steps to limit all non-essential spending as well as implementing a reduction in staff salaries and the suspension of retirement benefits. These steps are necessary due to the significant reduction in the weekly offering and the uncertainty of the future. We will continue to care for the Oak Hills Church family and serve our community. If you’ve been giving regularly, thank you. Now more than ever your gifts are crucial for helping people in need. Many people are already giving online. If you have not given online, text “oakhills” to 77977, or click "Give" link above. If you need help, please call 210-807-5225 for assistance. You may also mail or deliver your check to 6929 Camp Bullis, San Antonio, TX 78256.

Update March 13, 2020

As most of you are aware, the mayor and the City of San Antonio have announced a public health emergency and a ban on any gatherings of 500 persons or more. While we understand churches may be technically exempt from this order, the mayor and his office are strongly encouraging all organizations, including churches, to comply. Oak Hills Church leadership desires to support and affirm our city leaders, therefore, we have determined to do the following:

All on-campus weekend worship gatherings are suspended until further notice, beginning this weekend. We will continue providing an online worship experience from our Crownridge location at regular service times: Saturday, 5 PM, and Sunday, 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Those who attend our Alamo Ranch or Westside campuses may be able to log into Facebook and enjoy Sam or Miguel’s teaching via Facebook Live.

All on-campus ministry activities at all of our locations have been suspended regardless of size for the foreseeable future (Bible studies and classes, Preschool classes, etc.)

Ongoing updates will be provided through the Oak Hills Church website, social media, and app.
